“We were excited to welcome Congressman Jordan to Terra State,” said Dr. Ron Schumacher, president of Terra State, “As a state-funded institution, it is important to show our elected officials how we are providing a quality education and hands-on experiences for our students.”

Jordan also congratulated medical assisting students for their hard work in volunteering to administer over 600 COVID-19 tests since September.

“It was an honor to tour Terra State Community College. Terra State’s rigorous manufacturing program, state-of-the-art medical assistant procedure lab and dedicated faculty make it one of the premier community colleges in our country. It was great to see Terra State’s students back in the classroom as well, where they will gain work-based experience and study to achieve their educational goals,” said Jordan.
