The Broadband Construction Tech program at Terra State Community College offers students the education and training they need for in-demand, well-paying careers in the broadband, infrastructure and wireless industries.

Today, there is a high demand for qualified, skilled workers as Ohio is committed to building the infrastructure needed to connect communities, businesses and households to essential broadband and 5G services – and preparing the workforce needed to bring the vision to reality.

Graduates of Terra State’s Construction Technology program are finding great jobs in utility construction, networking, programming, cybersecurity and telecommunications. The program prepares students to apply basic engineering principles, technical skills and standard construction practices in support of engineers, construction contractors, internet service providers and other professionals engaged in the construction and maintenance of fiber optic networks.

Terra State’s broadband programs are currently supported by the Wireless Infrastructure Association, the Ohio Rural Broadband Association, the Power & Communication Contractors Association and many local companies.
