Lahoski, Rucker, and Sutter Appointed to the Terra State Community College Board of Trustees

The Terra State Community College Board of Trustees is announcing that Governor Mike DeWine has appointed Dr. Jim Lahoski, Jodi Rucker, and Luke Sutter to serve on the board of trustees. Lahoski’s and Rucker’s terms end 12/30/28; Sutter’s term ends 12/30/26.

Dr. Jim Lahoski is retired from more than 27 years as superintendent/CEO at North Central Ohio Education Service Center in Tiffin. He is a professional educator with broad teaching experience as an adjunct college professor for Heidelberg, Ashland, and BGSU.

Jim holds a doctorate (Ph.D.) in Administration and Leadership from Bowling Green State University and is a trained facilitator for the Stephen Covey Leadership and the Ken Blanchard programs.

His community service over the years includes serving on multiple Bellevue and Upper Sandusky area city, hospital, and educational boards. He lives in Bellevue with his wife, Sue, and has two married daughters.

Jodi Rucker is the president and chief nursing officer at ProMedica Memorial and Fostoria Community Hospitals. She has worked for ProMedica since 2013 in various leadership roles at both the local and system levels.

Jodi earned her master’s in science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. She obtained her bachelor’s degree prior and earned presidential honors by achieving a 4.0 GPA for both degrees. In 2018, Jodi was part of the executive team for ProMedica Memorial Hospital when it received the Partnership for Excellence Governor’s Award. She also received the20 under 40 Leadership Award in 2018.

Jodi serves the community as a Sandusky County Family and Children First Council as a council member, is a member of Health Partners, a Rotarian, and has been a volunteer examiner for The Partnership for Excellence for multiple years.

Jodi grew up in Castalia and graduated from Margaretta High School. She resides in Bellevue with her husband Steve and their three children, Ella, 17; Cali, 15; and Maddux, 14.

Luke Sutter is executive vice president and chief lending officer for GenoaBank and its parent company, GenBanc. Luke is a native of Genoa and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Toledo. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Tiffin University.

Luke has been a community banker at GenoaBank since March 2014 and has led the bank’s Commercial Lending Department since April 2019. He spent a portion of his career in commercial banking, where he helped businesses throughout Northwest Ohio with their financing needs.

He is a past president, board member, and current Genoa Area Chamber of Commerce committee member. He is an active member of the Ohio Farm Bureau and on committees for Genoa Schools and Trinity United Church of Christ. He resides in Martin, Ohio.
