Earn credit for military training

Terra State Community College recognizes the value of military training and experience. As a result, we accept the American Council on Education (ACE) recommendations for credit. Veteran students with previous credit are encouraged to utilize this program to take advantage of a possible jump start on one of our quality associate degree or certificate programs.

Steps to receive Military Credit

All new students need to fill out our free application by visiting our application page.

Once complete, you must request an official copy of your transcript be sent to the college's records office from your branch of the military. There is no charge for the evaluation of military experience credits. The Records Office will review the transcript and award credit for appropriate courses. To have an official copy of your transcript sent to the college, you must contact the individual military branches.

DO NOT OPEN TRANSCRIPTS - Transcripts must be opened by Terra State personnel to be valid.
